INT. HYSTERICAL HEIGHTS MEDICAL CENTER - NIGHT

[Theme music plays, accompanied by a montage of various hospital scenes featuring the hospital staff in silly situations, all ending with the same patient, MR. MORTIMER, dying in a new, absurd way each time.]

EPISODE 7: "The Dastardly Disco Debacle"

[DR. FUMBLE enters MR. MORTIMER's hospital room, tripping over a pair of disco roller skates. MR. MORTIMER lies in bed, dressed in a 70s disco outfit, covered in glitter and groaning in pain.]

DR. FUMBLE
(crashing into the room)
Mortimer! What groovy disaster has befallen you this time?

MR. MORTIMER
(grimacing)
Doc, I went to a disco-themed roller-skating party, but I slipped on some spilled glitter and spun out of control!

NURSE NUTTY enters the room, wearing a disco jumpsuit and carrying a disco ball.

NURSE NUTTY
(dancing)
Dr. Fumble, we have to treat Mortimer before he develops Disco Delirium!

DR. FUMBLE
(scratching his head)
But how do we cure this funky affliction?

NURSE NUTTY
(holding the disco ball)
I know! We'll use this disco ball to reflect healing light onto Mortimer and restore his equilibrium!

[NURSE NUTTY and DR. FUMBLE dance around the room, reflecting disco ball light onto MR. MORTIMER. He starts to feel better and even manages a weak smile.]

MR. MORTIMER
(smiling)
Thanks, doc. I'm starting to feel like my old self again.

[Just as MR. MORTIMER begins to recover, the disco ball suddenly malfunctions and starts spinning out of control, shooting beams of light all over the room. One of the beams hits MR. MORTIMER, causing him to have a seizure.]

NURSE NUTTY
(alarmed)
Oh no! The disco ball's gone haywire!

DR. FUMBLE
(panicking)
Quick, Nurse Nutty! Turn off the lights!

[NURSE NUTTY rushes to flip the switch, but it's too late. MR. MORTIMER dies from the seizure caused by the disco light overload.]

DR. FUMBLE
(tearfully)
Mortimer... we couldn't save you from the dancing darkness.

NURSE NUTTY
(sadly)
He boogied to the beat one last time.

[The camera pans out as the hospital staff gather in the room, mourning MR. MORTIMER's death, while "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor plays softly in the background.]

FADE OUT.
