EPISODE 15: "The Astonishing Alien Abduction Aftermath"
[DR. FUMBLE enters MR. MORTIMER's hospital room, stepping on a small toy UFO as he enters. MR. MORTIMER lies in bed, covered in glow-in-the-dark paint and surrounded by flashing lights.]
DR. FUMBLE
(crashing into the room)
Mortimer! What intergalactic incident brought you here this time?
MR. MORTIMER
(frantically)
Doc, you won't believe it! I was abducted by aliens and experimented on! Now I'm glowing like a radioactive Christmas tree!
NURSE NUTTY enters the room, wearing a tin foil hat and holding a Geiger counter.
NURSE NUTTY
(worried)
Dr. Fumble, we need to neutralize Mortimer's otherworldly glow before he attracts more extraterrestrial attention!
DR. FUMBLE
(stroking his chin)
You're right, Nurse Nutty! But how do we return Mortimer to his non-glowing state?
NURSE NUTTY
(holding up the Geiger counter)
I've got it! We'll use this Geiger counter to detect the source of his glow and reverse it with a specially designed anti-radiation cream!
[NURSE NUTTY and DR. FUMBLE search MR. MORTIMER's body with the Geiger counter, locating the source of his glow. They apply the anti-radiation cream, which causes the glow to begin fading.]
MR. MORTIMER
(relieved)
It's working, Doc! I'm starting to feel normal again!
[As MR. MORTIMER's glow disappears, the lights in the room flicker, and the hospital is plunged into darkness. An eerie hum fills the air as a bright beam of light shoots through the window, enveloping MR. MORTIMER.]
NURSE NUTTY
(terrified)
Oh no! The aliens have returned for Mortimer!
DR. FUMBLE
(panicking)
We can't let them take him! Nurse Nutty, grab the laser pointers and tin foil hats!
[NURSE NUTTY and DR. FUMBLE don their tin foil hats and use laser pointers to fend off the alien beam. Despite their efforts, MR. MORTIMER is lifted into the air and disappears, leaving only a smoldering outline of his body on the bed.]
DR. FUMBLE
(tearfully)
Mortimer... They took him...
NURSE NUTTY
(sadly)
He's out there now, among the stars.
[The camera pans out as the hospital staff gather in the room, mourning MR. MORTIMER's disappearance, while "Space Oddity" by David Bowie plays softly in the background.]
FADE OUT.
